42nd Saptak Annual Music Festival Part – 2 (Online)

We are elated to announce the part 2 of the 42nd Saptak Annual Music Festival which will be organized online from the 19th February 2022 to 26th February 2022. As per our tradition this year’s festival was organized from the 1st January 2022 to 13 th January 2022 on-site and online but unfortunately due to the pandemic situation we had to stop the festival midway from 7 th January 2022.

Looking at the present circumstances we have decided to bring to you the remaining part of the festival as PART 2 in an online concert format with same enthusiasm and energy. As you all know, this year’s festival is dedicated to the memory of Sangeet Martand Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj & Padma Bhushan Pt. Rajan Mishra.

The 42nd Saptak Annual Music Festival Part – 2 (Online) is being organized as follows:

• Duration: 19th February 2022 to 26th February 2022.
• Sessions: 2 sessions every day. Additional 2 morning sessions on Sunday. In all 18 sessions.
• Special Tribute: Two sessions will be devoted as a tribute to Bharat Ratna Pt.Bhimsen Joshi and one session will be dedicated to Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ali Akbar Khan to celebrate their centenary.
• Time: The sessions will begin at 8:30pm IST and end around 11:30 pm IST. Morning session at 10:30 am IST to 1:00pm IST.
• Online streaming: The festival will be streamed live on shaale.com and each session will be available to watch for 48 hours from the time of performance after which it will be taken down.
• Subscription:
  • Those who have already subscribed/registered earlier for online access to the 42nd Saptak Annual Music Festival can watch part 2 using the same login credentials on shaale.com
  • For those who missed subscribing for access to the festival earlier this year,we request your generous support through a donation of any amount not less than Rs. 1250/- towards the corpus of the trust OR a space donation OR an advertisement in the Souvenir to be published on this occasion. We have made arrangements by which all the donors will be provided online access to the entire festival.
